So I'm handfasting 2 weeks from tomorrow. I've gotten over the nervousness, and now I'm just really excited! I just feel bad because my friends from the two major party crews that are throwing the two huge parties that night are fighting over our handfasting... We wanted to do it at the ranch, but the ranch has gone to shit, and my favorite crew is doing their party up north a bit... We're doing it with them, because that crew (well, most of them) is family to us, and because most of our friends will be at that party. But I've had 4 people from the other crew try to convince me to ditch the one we're doing it at and go to theirs, which IS at the ranch... One even offered us a stage to do it at. >.< It's so frustrating! I've always gotten along with everyone in the scene (real people, not the ones who just go to get fucked up and try to boost their self esteem by belittling others >.< ok, i even get along with them) but I have the feeling I'm going to be alienating some people with this... Although most of the other crew understands that these people are my family, and it's more a people issue than anything else, I can't shake the feeling that some of them aren't happy about this. >.< *sigh* I know I can't please everybody, but this is driving me bonkers!
